Likes: Angela likes to read, write, build models, and hang out with friends. She sometimes likes to go to the beach and just listen to the waves.
Dislikes: Angela dislikes being alone, betrayed by friends, and casted out. She also does not like to tell people about her past since it is troubling and nothing but horrifying.
History: Angela Drew Jones was brought to a house somewhere along the coast of the state of Washington. The house was small, but had two stories. The outside was painted white. Surrounding the house were trees, secluding it from outsiders and giving the home an eerie feeling. Angela had been delivered to Johnathan Jones’ doorstep like any other Athena child, in a cradle that was made by Hephaestus after Athena gave birth from her skull. With the cradle was a watch made of gold and a set of ruby rings.
Johnathan took Angela in, but only for his own greedy purposes. He could see through the Mist, and was fascinated with the monsters of mythology that most believed only to be stories. He was particularly fond of the Phoenix, a fiery bird that, when it died, a new one would be born from its ashes. So, as a scientist, he experimented, first on animals and then to something bigger: a person. Since his daughter was the only one nearby, he tested on her with the DNA of a Phoenix. Angela was only six years old.
During the experiments on Angela Jones, a surprising outcome happened. A boy the same age as Angela appeared, born, or created, after an explosion wrecked the basement as Angela’s own DNA was trying to accept or reject the newly implanted DNA. The boy was covered in ash and a light yellow glow covered his sooty skin. Her father, fascinated and scared of this new outcome, isolated the boy in the attic soon after he appeared.
Despite being separated from the boy, Angela often snuck to the attic to see the strange boy. She called him Deangelo Valiant Jones, or just Valiant. Unlike her, the boy had light brown hair and blue eyes. Despite this, Angela saw Deangelo as her twin. He never spoke and hardly ate, making Angela worry. However, he always gave her a reassuring look to comfort her.
After the tests were complete, Angela’s father had successfully fused the DNA of a Phoenix into his own daughter, though it was still unstable. At the same time, Johnathan noticed that the boy, whom he referred to as The Accident, also had the phoenix DNA within him as well and it was more controllable than Angela's DNA. Angela and Deangelo were 10 at that time.
For four years, Johnathan kept the siblings separated and observed them. Angela never spoke and often read books to forget her own life. Often times she would erupt into a tantrum and violent anger. Johnathan often sedated her. Deangelo on the other hand paced calmly. He was more the type to observe and apply those skills to himself. To Johnathan, the twins were two sides of the same coin.
Once the four years went by, Deangelo decided to run. He took the gifts from his sister's 'birth' that were in a drawer. Deangelo also took Angela with him, fearing what her father might do if he left her alone with the man. Together, the siblings traveled across the country, taking trains, hitchhiking and walking, following their instincts to a safer place, one free of experimental fathers.
During their travels, they encountered many monsters, most drawn to the monster DNA of the Phoenix within them as well as the demigod blood that ran through their veins. When attacked, Deangelo fought them off, mainly using a branch or anything else nearby that seemed to do damage.
Soon enough, they arrived at Camp Half-Blood, a haven for demigods. They were badly injured and had to rest for two weeks before they completely recovered. Deangelo, though, did not stay and vanished the day he supposedly recovered from his injuries, leaving Angela in the care of the campers. Angela always thought he was just an imaginary friend.
The death of Angela Jones came as a shock to some. Since her body still was unaccustomed to the phoenix DNA inside of her, Angela went wild. Her half-brother, Michael, shot her through the chest in an attempt to stop her from killing another camper. She died after her friends had rushed her to a nearby hospital.
Personality: Angela Jones is a nice, but quiet girl. She has trust issues because of her past and won't open up easily to people. She tends to be buried in books, sketching, or making mini models of monuments out of anything she can find. She finds it hard to trust people and mostly just observes those around her. In her spare time, she will spar by herself, or if anyone is willing, with others.
Appearance: As of now, Angela Jones has long black hair and fiery red eyes that can also become blue. She wears mainly black, white, red, orange or yellow, to symbolize the fire she carries in her body and soul. She weighs about 95 lbs. and is 5 foot 5 inches in height.
Abilities: [all abilities from experimentation or curse by Hephaestus depends on the history], fire resistant, reborn when dies(limited amount of times), phoenix transformation, manipulates fire
Weapons: katana with white grip, rapier with ruby hilt, dagger with glass handle, claymore that changes into a pendant bracelet (all gifts from Athena when she ran away from home and each has a unique power except for claymore )
Other: Angela’s temperature can get way over the normal temp for the human body. As a result, her phoenix powers can get out of hand and she
could burn anything near her. However, the high temperature does not kill
her.
